Natalie Bovis is recognized as a top beverage consultant and mixologist connecting with the savvy consumer, particularly the female demographic. Natalie’s cocktail books, Preggatinis™: Mixology for the Mom-to-Be and The Bubbly Bride™: Your Ultimate Wedding Cocktail Guide, are each ranked among the Top Ten Cocktail Books of the year in 2008 and 2009, respectively.  Her website, TheLiquidMuse.com, is a trendsetting online publication devoted to cocktail culture, beverage and entertaining trends, venues and personalities, with 40,000+ visits per month. The Liquid Muse Cocktail Club focuses on consumers and features “underground cocktail parties” for tastemakers from all walks of life.  The club’s slogan is “You don’t have to be a pro to drink like one.” The Liquid Museletter goes out to 3500+ subscribers around the world, and The Liquid Muse Twitter keeps 2400 followers abreast of cocktail updates.

Based in Los Angeles, Natalie is often engaged to custom-design signature cocktails for A-List fundraisers and celebrity baby showers. Projects have included the Celebrity Poker Tournament at the Playboy Mansion (2007) and the Los Angeles Ballet Fundraiser featuring the cast of Mad Men (2009). A pioneer in bringing high-end mixology to nonalcoholic cocktails, Natalie’s Preggatinis™ have been served at Anna Getty’s Pregnancy Awareness Month event; baby-store-to-the-stars Bel Bambini’s VIP party featuring guest of honor Kendra Wilkinson; and baby showers for TV Host Victoria Recano as well as Brooke and Charlie Sheen.

Consumer education is one of Natalie’s passions and she has taught her eco-friendly cocktail program, The Liquid Muse Sustainable Sips®, to thirsty “ greenies” in Los Angeles, Seattle, Manhattan, Chicago and Boston. She reaches an even wider audience with her Tasty Award-nominated online cocktail show Inspired Sips with The Liquid Muse, which is broadcast at SmallScreenNetwork.com.  She also whips up her original cocktails on national television shows such as “Platinum Babies” (WE) and “That Morning Show” (E! Entertainment), and regional morning programs around the United States (Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Rochester, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Washington DC, Indianapolis). Natalie regularly hones her skills, making her one of the few credentialed spirits / cocktail / wine writers. She attended the prestigious 5-day Beverage Alcohol Resource (B.A.R.) spirits certification program in New York (2008); the Bols Bartending Academy in Amsterdam (2010) where she also taught a course; and is currently working on her Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) course. In addition to teaching cocktail classes around the U.S., Natalie sat on a panel at the annual Nightclub & Bar Show in Las Vegas (2008) as well as taught her Virgin Mixology seminar at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans (2009). She is regularly invited to judge cocktail competitions around the world (from Las Vegas to Amsterdam), the Los Angeles Wine and Spirits Competition (2009), and is a judge in the 2010 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. Time permitting, Natalie also contributes drink-related articles to national and trade magazines.
