Kim Haasarud has worked in the food & beverage industry since graduating from high school, bartending her way through college in New York City. She segued into the entertainment industry where she began producing and developing projects, but never fully let go of her passion for creating great cocktails. “I would go to movie premieres and industry parties where the food was great, the atmosphere was spectacular, but the drinks were boring … the same thing every time.”
Haasarud eventually formed her own company Liquid Architecture that focused on bringing fresh ingredients and premium spirits to beverage programs around the world. Since then Kim has become one of America’s foremost mixologists, publishing best-selling cocktail books (the “101″ Series through Wiley) as well a being a regular personality in such forums as NPR’™s “Good Food,” “CBS Morning Show,” “Fox and Friends,” the New York Times, Wallstreet Journal, LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Food & Wine Magazine, the Wine Spectator, Cosmopolitan, Aspen Food & Wine Classic, and Tales of the Cocktail to name a few.
